Currently, the Nominating Committee has not received any nominations for interest in the Treasurer or Secretary positions for next school year. In order for there to be a PTA there must be at least a President, Treasurer and Secretary. Therefore, if there is no one interested in filling the Treasurer or Secretary slots, Wims will not have a PTA next year. Elections will be held at our May 7th PTA General Membership Meeting. A description for each position is included in the link below. The PTA Nominating Committee (Julie Underwood, Erica Lupica, and Alana Hyman) is seeking nominations for three (3) PTA Officer positions for the 2019-2021 school years – Vice-President I, Treasurer and Secretary. The term is two (2) years for each position. The officers of the PTA should include members who represent the social and ethnic makeup of the school and parent community. The Nominating Committee will then select and recommend the person who is considered to be the best fit for each of the three positions. During the PTA General Membership Meeting on May 7th, all PTA members present will vote to elect these officer positions.
