5th GRADE PROMOTION
Celebrate our amazing 5th graders as they get ready to enter the next phase in their lives: middle school! A special committee (comprised of non-5th grade families) is needed to make this event memorable for our rising middle schoolers. This is a "pay it forward" form of service - as you will need a committee to help celebrate YOUR future 5th grader! Once a Wildcat, Always a Wildcat!
5th GRADE PICNIC
We are hoping to make this a new Wims tradition! Due to the generosity of our community last year, we raised enough funds for one more day of fun for our outgoing Wildcats. Our 5th graders enjoyed an afternoon on the blacktop with grilled hot dogs, refreshments, water balloons, and a parents v. students kick-ball game! Our students had a wonderful time and we are looking forward to continuing this new event.

Non-Event Committees
The PTA is comprised of several committees that are not centered around one specific event, but are critical to the function of the PTA. Help is needed on all committees, so if you see something on this list that matches your interest or skill-set, please reach out to us at pta@wwespta.org - we are here to support you & help you get started!
Membership - Assist the PTA board by conducting data entry and quality control in our online membership database, A to Z. Provide quality control in our database and provide membership totals as needed by the Executive Board. These tasks can be done at home at a time that's convenient!
Communications - Communications are critical in seeking event volunteers and keeping our Wildcat families informed of upcoming events and opportunities. We are specifically looking for social media managers, volunteers to put together flyers, and website updates.
Yearbook - The Wildcat yearbook is a treasure each year to our students. The PTA is in need of a few more members for our yearbook team with yearbook work starting at the beginning of the year. Much of the yearbook work is done at home at a time that's convenient.
Photography - We need hobby photographers to attend PTA and school events throughout the year to take pictures for our yearbook.
Spirit Wear - This is a creative role in that you get to help the PTA design and restock our in-person spirit wear. New ideas are always welcome to supplement our online shop. We can't wait to hear your ideas!
